Another beautiful fall evening for farm fresh veggies! The season is almost over but the veggies just keep getting better. This week’s share included leeks, turnips, Japanese eggplants, green peppers, deliciously tart green tomatoes, kale, butternut squash, and salad mix. The fruit share was cider(!), and tons of apples.
Thanks to all the volunteers tonight and also to everyone who contibuted to our squash cook-off (or “The Squashening”).
