September 29th Distribution

Tonight went pretty smoothly with the exception of a few of the volunteers from the first shift being late. The weather was cool and mild. It’s getting dark a bit earlier now which is easily remedied through lanterns and candles which makes it feel like we’re camping.

Tonight’s veggie share consisted of red peppers, butternut squash, potatoes, tomatoes (both beefsteak and heirloom),spinach, cauliflower, and mixed greens. The pasta was red pepper shells. The fruit share tonight was both golden delicious and Cortlandt apples.

Thank you to the volunteers tonight (especially the ones who showed up on time).

See you next week,

Mike
