Hello Fellow Farm Sharers!
Tonight’s distribution, although the night was a little rainy, went swimmingly…thanks to our enthusiastic volunteers! Once again, our vegetables are lovely. This week’s share included Japanese turnips, zucchini, arugula, snap peas, swiss chard, lettuce, and broccoli.
And it seems like the extra shares have been sorted out–there were no shortages of strawberries or eggs this week and it should be smooth sailing from here on out. Thanks for your patience. Each week seems to offer us a chance to iron out more wrinkles.
We were happy to have the chance to meet Stephen from Breezy Hill Orchard, who stopped by to see how our distribution works. He even brought some delicious ginger snap cookies to tempt us!
Also during tonight’s distribution, Amy Seek met with a group of farm share members who signed up as brand new core goup members. Thank you to all who are excited about our new community and are interested in sharing the responsibilities for ensuring its future.
Enjoy your vegetables and I’ll see you next week!
