We will be collecting forms and payments at sign-in this Wednesday. Please remember that checks for the veggie share must be made out to NYCCAH; and checks for each extra share must be made out to the individual farmer as indicated on the form.

If you are interested in purchasing a seat on the CSA bus to The Farm at Miller’s Crossing for the Sunday 9/25 trip, please remember to bring cash/checks. The cost is $25.00 (non-refundable) and must be paid in full by 9/9.

The plastics awareness group Plastic Albatross will be visiting with us this week. In honor of the event, we will be selling Flatbush Farm Share tote bags ($18.00) as well as T-shirts ($15.00).

Submissions: We’re looking for contributors, so if you have any pieces you’d like to submit, send them to newsletter@flatbushfarmshare.com (Articles should be in Word doc. format and photos should be sent as JPEGs.)

- 1 bunch arugula
- .5 lb. salad mix
- 1 bunch beets
- 1 lb. zucchini/squash
- 1 bunch leeks
- .5 lb. beans
-. 5 lb. kirby cukes
- 2 peppers

Also, for extra extra shares, there’s beef and coffee this week.

And, we still need your stray bags (of any material–paper works too!). Please remember also that composting hours are from 5-7.

Finally, we have visitors this week starting at 5 pm. Save a little time to speak with our Just Food Network representative and take the rural/urban CSA survey.
